LVP stair installation with nosings, 13 steps

About this project

We replaced the old covering on a 13-step staircase to the second floor of a home in Carmichael, CA with luxury vinyl plank (LVP). Every step got a matching stair nosing, the rounded edge that protects the front of the tread and gives the staircase a clean, finished look. Stairs are the hardest part of any LVP job because each tread and riser is cut and fitted individually, so the result depends on precise measuring and tight seams.
